| A look inside Dazzling Cafe |
Known for their decadent and visually creative desserts, Dazzling Cafe has dove into Richmond’s competitive dessert market. Nestled between Alderbridge and No.3 road, Dazzling Cafe opened its doors in February 2017.
The exterior of the store looked charming with large inviting windows framed with simple golden decals. Upon entering the establishment, the vibe was whimsical and high class. The light grey walls, glass walls intricate chandeliers and the wall mounted black lamps softly lit the environment. Black tufted leather seats and elegant detailed chairs with cute bunny ears gave a young, exquisite and “princessy” atmosphere.

| Strawberry Ice Cream Waffle |
I had the Strawberry Ice Cream Waffle. This intricate waffle had a scoop of ice cream in the middle fenced with bright red strawberries with a tiny pitcher of sweet strawberry jam on the side. The visual presentation was well thought out and on brand. The waffle itself had the perfect balance of crunch and chewiness. The side of strawberry jam complimented the strawberries and ice cream well even though there were many textures. I appreciate the different textures because a waffle can get boring if not accompanied with toppings.
In addition, Dazzling Cafe serves honey roasts, soufflé pancakes, French toast, shaved iced, cold teas and hot teas. With the variation of hot and cold desserts, Dazzling Cafe is the perfect go to dessert spot for all occasions and weather conditions.
