Oh Hunni!

It's that time of year when school is getting more and more intense and the Starbucks runs are becoming more frequent (thank god for pumpkin spice lattes... and everything else amazing about fall). There is something about fall that makes me feel alive and in love with everything around me. The colours, the sound of walking through crisp fallen leaves, my sister's homemade cinnamon carrot loaves, the sight of seeing families choosing pumpkins at the patch, and most importantly, fashion weeks across the globe.

Fall Fashion, however, has a big place in my heart. Last Friday, it was about 18 degrees in Richmond went for an evening stroll in Steveston Village with mini-donuts in my hand from Outpost's Mini Donut Company. That's when I laid eyes on a cute corner boutique, named Hunni's, and found myself walking towards it.

The exterior of the store is welcoming with a light grey wood aesthetic and large windows. I walked in and the store felt inviting, with a sales associate who immediately helped me with my umbrella and asked how my day was. There was a vibe in the store, one of minimalism, and one that really encompassed the west cost well. Many of the jewelry sold is Vancouver made. Brands sold at Hunni's include Dex, Gentle Fawn, and Herschel. Hunni's has the warm cozy feels that make you want to buy something even if you didn't have the intent of buying anything! I myself went in just to browse and walked out with a brand new suede skirt with floral embroidery! With the right turtleneck, it may just be my favourite outfit this fall.
