Christmas is just a few short weeks away: the to-do lists are getting longer and the Christmas shopping is getting thrown to the side...we have all been there. HOLIDAY STYLING
Holiday parties are in effect, and the next few weeks I will be bringing to you some of my favourite Christmas Party looks. Aside from good food and plenty of wine, Christmas parties are a great way to showcase your style with your colleagues/family/friends who are used to seeing you a certain way. I'm an RN so I wear scrubs...I definitely notch up my style around Christmas! LBD's are great, and a safe bet for a Christmas party. Here is how you can spice up a black dress you have in your closet:
1. If you have a statement necklace, preferably one with some stones, that's the perfect way of adding some holiday glitz into your outfit.
2. Wear a printed or coloured heel instead of a basic black. It'll bring out your outfit right away and if anything, could be a great 'break the ice' conversation if someone notices
3. Don't shy away from a beautiful clutch. This is another way to bring out your outfit. Clutch essentials on a night out- gum, powder, lipstick, and... whatever you think you'll need if you have a hot date (wink****)
4. The most important rule: Do not do all of the above in one look.
